Wait, what?
Writing is pretty new for me. While I've always loved books, I never actually thought about writing until recently. Actually, it was covid. Unable to play bells, I needed a creative outlet. I was going a bit stir crazy (who wasn't), so my partner and I sat down and made a list of all the possible projects I could tackle to occupy my time. On that list were things like woodworking, learn guitar, brew beer, and.... write a novel.
Five years later and I've written three novels, all of them near-future grounded science fiction, all of them for kids and teens. No, you can't read them and I won't tell you what they're about.
But hopefully I will someday, and I'm feeling quite hopeful because in May 2025 I signed with a literary agent. I'd been querying my projects for years, and amassed my fair share of rejections (140 but who's counting?!). Rejection comes with the territory, I've learned. But I kept at it and I'm unbelievably excited to be working with my new agent. I'll let you know when there's anything to share!
